Cerise Hood / Cerise WOLF.

So we all know by now that because of her parents, Cerise is some sort of human/wolf hybrid. Whether she is a werewolf or not, we are currently unsure.

Most Cerise fans were disappointed when they learned that their Cerise dolls did not have those adorable ears pictured above...

They weren't as cute or wolf-like as we'd expected :(

Also, there were many people stating "How will Cerise carry out both her mother's AND her father's legacy?". Well this is my theory. So please keep an open mind about this one ;)

The above is a screenshot from the Ever After High Wikia (Trademarks section) which shows the name 'Cerise Wolf' in the 'Future Trademarks' section. This shows that the Cerise Wolf trademark was approved on the fifth of August 2013 (the N/A shows that is was not rejected).

But who is Cerise Wolf? Surely not the Cerise Hood we all know and love?

As we have seen in the webisodes, Cerise's wolf-like tendencies can come on suddenly and as mentioned before there have been rumours floating around that she is in fact a werewolf.

In other stories, werewolves change form when they are exposed to a full moon and I'm proposing that this is where 'Cerise Wolf' comes in.

I am suggesting that there will be a line of dolls under the name of Cerise Wolf which will be a more wolf-like take on the Cerise doll HOPEFULLY with those adorable ears, a tail and maybe a snout or a more wolf-like face! PLEASE REMEMBER that this is just a THEORY.

And I think this will also be how she will fulfil both destinies :)

And now I've gotten myself all excited about possible dolls :P So fingers crossed this is true! I would LOVE more Cerise dolls :)

Rumour or Reveal? - 'Hat-Tastic Party' Line.

So a couple of photos are floating around at the minute - Look at those dresses! Apparently these are from the upcoming Hat-Tastic Party line, and who's dress is that one the right? Our lovely Cerise!

According to the EverAfterHighDolls Facebook page:
"It is rumoured that this collection will include Madeline Hatter™, Apple White™, Briar Beauty™, Cedar Wood™ and Cerise Hood™... how hexciting!"

According to the Ever After High Wikia, this really is an upcoming line, but because there is little out there at the minute regarding this line, it begs me to question - Are these dresses rumour or reveal?

If it's a reveal I am so excited about this line and I cannot wait for it :) More rumours lead us to believe that this may be Ever After High's first economy line!

And if it IS a rumour... Well at least we have Legacy Day to look forward to!

Possible Upcoming Doll? - Thronecoming.

The newest line of Ever After High dolls has been announced to be the THRONECOMING line, which is soooo fabulous! But once again, Cerise is left in the back seat while the focus is on Apple and Raven. There are hopes that in future lines Cerise will be in the first wave though, as Blondie and Cupid are also coming to the first wave of Thronecoming dolls!

Just look at those gorgeous dresses. I can't be the only fan that wants to see Cerise in one of these, right?! I mean I know huge dresses aren't usually her style but she's gotta let her hair down at least once...

I guess for now we'll just have to look forward to our Legacy Day Cerises and keep our fingers crossed!

Possible Upcoming Doll? - Getting Fairest.

Cerise looked so cute when she was getting fairest for the True Hearts Day dance, it would be an abomination if Mattel didn't make a doll!

Cerise wears her hair in a cute plait. Of course, she wears a hooded dressing gown, which is more like a comfortable hooded zippy, in gingham. Under this it looks like she's wearing a red kimono style top with a silver stripe that goes diagonally across it... Does this have some very fine detailing on it?

I've said it in my Venus McFlytrap blog and I'll say it again - PJ dolls are the CUTEST. I really hope this will be one Cerise we can add to our collections :)

Future Cerise - Legacy Day

We all saw Cerise's outfit of choice in the Legacy Day episode (and, yes, I have caught up with the web episodes now :P) and so fans were eagerly awaiting a Legacy Day Cerise Hood.

Well, thanks to Ever After High One Stop Shop, we now have a picture confirming the future release of this very doll!

Mattel have decided to go with a brown hood rather than a white one for some reason but I think it looks pretty either way. Cerise wears a longer cape than her original but with the same design on it and appears to be wearing a dress and tights. She has also scooped her fringe to the side but I liked it better as a full fringe. She also seems to be wearing more jewellery, but who can blame her? It's a very special day for her :) It also looks like she's wearing red lipstick!


According to the Ever After High Wikia the second wave of the Legacy Day line could be released this September but that is just an estimation. Personally I hope it's much sooner!
